The students write the words next to the correct definitions.
They make sentences then learn spellings by using see, cover, write method.

A ready to use lesson for ESOL/ESL/EFL/EAL

Reading text - Ali compares his life in London to Islamabad
Then answer true/false statements
Grammar- Comparative Adjectives-
Includes spelling rules for making comparative adjectives
Includes a page of adjectives to make in to comparatives adjectives.
At the end of the lesson the students should write comparing their own country/city to their new home.
Last sheet includes a learning reflection.

There are 24 questions printed for you to download and use as an Ice breaker for Teen ESL students. There is also an editable version for you to change questions.
As the questions are already written the students will ease in to talking in front of the whole class. A lot of ice breakers require ESL students to make questions which can be daunting for them in the first lesson.
